With the tremendous support received from LEO’s members and Dr David P. Chan, LEO Dr David P. Chan Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Data Science is officially launched by Lingnan University in 2020. It is a 4-year-full-time undergraduate programme that integrates knowledge and skills from computer science, statistics/mathematics and artificial intelligence with critical and out-of the box thinking to process big datasets with different formats from various sources. Students will learn the approaches and methods to apply knowledge learnt from the courses to problems that arise in Business, Science, Social Science, and Arts.
